French forward, Ousmane Dembélé is expected to complete his move to Paris Saint Germain in the coming days after the French club activated his €50 million release clause.

The FC Barcelona winger who was expected to extend his contract with the Spanish giants rejected the contract extension for a move to the French Ligue 1.

Italian journalist and transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, tweeted earlier today that PSG and Ousmane Dembélé have booked a date for the player’s medical examination.

Also, on Saturday, August 5, 2023, Dembélé and PSG are expected to sign the official contract papers which are said to be ready.

Romano claimed that the France international will sign a five-year contract with the French reigning champions which will keep him at Parc Des Princes until June 30, 2028.

Meanwhile, the reigning Premier League champions Manchester City and German Bundesliga side RB Leipzig have just signed documents that could make Croatian defender Joško Gvardiol considered as a City player.

This is coming after Gvardiol agreed on personal terms with Manchester City in June and City have agreed to pay the German Bundesliga side a whopping €90 million for the services of the Croatia international.

Earlier today, Romano tweeted that Gvardiol is expected in the city of Manchester for his medical on Friday, August 4, which means that he could be officially announced as a City player before the Community Shield match between City and Arsenal on Sunday, August 6.
