Israel DMW Cries Out To Nigerians To Beg His Boss, Davido Over Sack Letter

Nigerian Afro pop star Davido’s logistics manager, Israel Afeare, better known as Israel DMW, on Tuesday apologized on behalf of his boss over the controversial music video of his signee, Logos Olori.

Naija News reported that Davido posted the music video on his Twitter page last Friday morning to promote his music artiste.

The controversial video showed some people dressed in white clothes, praying the way the Muslims do before launching into dancing as they recited some Quranic verses and prayed.

The contents of the video gained so much traction, with Muslims, especially in the northern part of the country, accusing the singer of disrespecting Islamic beliefs and practices.

Following the controversy, the music star  deleted the video, but failed to tender an apology for his action.

The singer’s inability to apologize for the making of the video continues to rattle members of the Muslim community.

Speaking on behalf of his boss, Isreal, via his Instagram stories, apologized, noting that the singer had promoted the music in the first place as a result of wanting to lift and push his signee.

He maintained that the music was purely for entertainment.

He wrote: “Let me specially apologize to my muslims brothers and sisters on the video my oga posted, as a result of him wanting to lift up somebody which is one of his hobbies.

“It was purely an entertainment effort wrongly presented. Make una no vex. Love you all.”
