Buhari Was Not Bold To Remove Fuel Subsidy - Daniel

The Senator representing Ogun East in the National Assembly, Gbenga Daniel, has denied media reports of a rift between him and Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State.

In an interview on a programme on Channels Television, Sunrise Daily, on Tuesday, Daniel said he has no issue or any major disagreement with the incumbent governor.

According to the former governor, the perceived rift might have emanated from the last governorship election in the state, which was keenly contested by Abidoun of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Ladi Adebutu of the Peoples Democratic Party. (PDP).

Daniel said some people in the state have accused him of not supporting Abiodun in his re-election bid but supported Bola Tinubu to win the 2023 presidential election.

More to come…
