We Chatted Last Week, Now He Is Serving Life Sentence – Blaqbonez Reacts To Portable’s Arrest

Popular Nigerian rapper, Emeka Ahamefule, also known as Blaqbonez, has reacted to the arrest of his controversial colleague, Portable.

Recall that on Friday, 31st March the Zazuu crooner was arrested by the Police for alleged assault.

In a recent update, the command disclosed that Portable would be in detention till Monday, 3rd March when he would be arraigned in court.

Speaking on Portable’s situation, Blaqbonez took to Twitter to share a chat he had with the embattled artiste last week.

According to him, someone whom he spoke with lately is now serving a life sentence.

Portable in the chat had appealed to Blaqbonez for them to do a piece together which he agreed.

He wrote: “damn just last week he said we should get in the studio, now he’s serving a life sentence. Till we meet again my bro.”

 

Portable To Face Six-count Charge

Meanwhile, the Police has said that Portable will face not less than six charges in court over his inciting comments against the police and his unruly behavior.

The Police Force’s Public Relations Officer, CSP Muyiwa Adejobi made this known via a series of tweets on Saturday, April 1, less than 24 hours after Portable was arrested in Ogun state.

The police PRO said, “I am sure u are very awake as I have addressed MCs case, but portable has more than 6 count charges to attend to, apart from resisting arrest and injuring a policeman.

“He will be charged to court for beating up a guy in Otta, who filed a petition to CP Ogun.

“There are many pending cases of assaults on people and attacks, and he will be investigated because people have complained against him.”
