The English Premier League clubs have set an unprecedented record in the 2022-2023 seasons after Chelsea sacked Graham Potter and Leicester City sacked Brendan Rodgers on Sunday, April 2, 2023.

The dismissal of the two coaches means that the Premier League clubs have dismissed a total of 12 coaches in the 2022-2023 season alone, breaking the record set in the 2013/14, 2017/18, and 2021/2022 seasons in which 10 managers were sacked respectively.

At the beginning of the ongoing season, Bournemouth became the first club to show their manager, Scott Parker, the exit door.

Less than seven days after, Chelsea sacked Thomas Tuchel and then appointed Graham Potter who they sacked 6 months after due to a poor run of games.

Interestingly, between March 17 to April 2nd, Premier League clubs have sacked a whopping four different managers which goes to show how much the bar has risen in the league.

Aside from 11th-placed Chelsea who has already sacked two managers this season, relegation-threatened Southampton, has also sacked two managers already this season.

Below are all the 12 managers that Premier League clubs have sacked in the 2022-2023 season and their dates of dismissal:

2. Thomas Tuchel – Chelsea – Sep. 7, 2022
