The controversial singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has been released from Ilaro Correctional Centre following the perfection of his bail conditions.

A source told Vanguard that Portable who was brought into the facility at about 3 pm, was released at about 6 pm after his bail bond was presented at the facility.

Recall Naija News earlier reported the singer was arraigned at the magistrate court in Ifo, Ogun state for assault, theft, and unruly behaviour with charge numbers 192c/ 2023 and 191c/2023.

While he was arraigned on a two-count charge on case 191c/2023, Portable was arraigned on a three-count charge on 192c/ 2023.

He however pleaded not guilty to the charges before Magistrate A.S Shoneye.

This follows his arrest on Friday after the expiration of the 72-hour ultimatum given to him by the police to turn himself in.

After his appearance in court on Monday, he was granted bail but the judge ordered that Portable be remanded in prison pending the fulfillment of his bail condition.

The cases were however adjourned till the 26th of April for the commencement of trial
