The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State, Tonye Cole has lost the gubernatorial election in Ikwerre Local Government Area.

Ikwerre local government is the LGA of the former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi.

The APC has lost in Ikwerre, the LGA of Rotimi Amaechi, former minister of transportation.
