#NigeriaDecides2023: INEC Officials Yet To Arrive Imo

Officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) are yet to arrive at most polling units in Owerri, the Imo state capital, and other towns in the state.

Naija News gathered that voters, especially the elderly were sitting on the floor and waiting for polling agents to arrive for voting to begin.

According to Daily Trust, voting materials are yet to arrive as of 10:30 am at Azuzi 11 in Owerri Municipal for Saturday’s presidential and National Assembly elections.

Security agencies were seen patrolling the streets as youths who appeared to be uninterested were busy playing football along the road.
