JUST IN: APC Takes Fresh Decision On Kogi Guber Primary Election

Reactions have trailed the postponement of the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign rally slated to hold on Monday, February 13, in Taraba State.

Naija News gathered that this recent shift of the campaign event by the APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) is the third in a row.

It was learnt that some party chieftains in the state are worried about the recent development as the national leadership is yet to offer any explanation as to why the event was put on hold again after all preparations have been put in place.

While the postponement of the rally has created bother among state APC faithfuls, some party sources are of the thought that the ongoing joint meeting between the APC leadership and the national hierarchy of the campaign council might be the reason this time.

A party source who pleaded anonymity told Daily Post that the crisis rocking the Taraba State of the party would be one of the issues to be settled at the meeting.

It was also gathered that while some party chieftains think the ongoing crisis rocking the party in the state might be the reason for the continuous shift in the event, others feel it should not be too much of a problem for the national leadership to wade into the crisis and resolve the issue among the party’s governorship aspirants in the state.

Another party source said, “We are becoming fed up with the attitudes of our party’s leaders at the national level.

“I only hope they will not blame us if we fail to deliver Taraba to Tinubu.”
