The Chief Spokesman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Festus Keyamo, has reacted to the collapse of the entire structure of a factional South West chapter of the Labour Party (LP) into the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The SouthWest factional LP Chairman, Omotoso Banji, led the party leadership to collapse its structure in Akure, Ondo State capital, according to The Nation.

Other leaders of LP that defected were Omowumi Olosola, Ondo Secretary of LP, and Sola Alabi amongst others.

Their movement into APC was facilitated by the National Coordinator of the South West Agenda For Asiwaju Tinubu (SWAGA) 2023, Dayo Adeyeye, and other members of the group.

While speaking at the programme, Omotosho, said leaders of the Labour Party decided to quit the party because it is not viable and lacks the clout to win the 2023 elections.

He added that the party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi is unknown and won’t get 1,000 votes from the South West in the 2023 election.

Reacting to the development in a tweet via his Twitter handle on Monday, Keyamo mocked the LP over the collapse of their South West structure.

He wrote: “Another jungle matures!
