I Tried To Do A Tour With Wizkid But He Turned Me Down – Davido Opens Up In Throwback Video

An old video of Davido speaking about a joint tour with Wizkid has resurfaced on social media.

Naija News recalls that Wizkid had earlier announced on his Instagram page that he would be going on tour with Davido after his ‘More Love Less Ego’ tour.

The announcement led to a lot of lot of reactions from fans and celebrities who have shown high expectations from the duo.

However, a throwback video has shown the moment Davido stated that Wizkid refused to have a tour with him.

In an interview with Media personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the OBO boss revealed that he tried to do a joint tour with Wizkid but he refused.

The singer also disclosed that he proposed a joint album as well, but got the same response.

 

Mr Jollof Blasts Wizkid Over Planned Tour With Davido

Nigerian comedian, Mr Jollof has stated that Wizkid is trying to “perch on the wings of Davido”, adding that his music is gradually losing its relevance.
Naija News reports that the comedian stated this while reacting to the proposed tour between Wizkid and the OBO boss.

Recalls that Wizkid had earlier announced that he would be going on tour with Davido. He revealed this via a post on his Instagram page.

He urged Nigerians to prepare for the tour.

Wizkid wrote, ”After my MLLE tour, Davido and I are going on a tour.

”Save your coins. I no one hear pin.”

Reacting to the announcement, Jollof claimed that Wizkid is trying to use Davido because things are no longer going well for him.

The comedian wondered the reason the tour did not happen years ago.

He continued by saying that Davido currently owns the music market and Wizkid’s move looks like him trying to perch on Obo’s wing to fly.
