Wizkid Announces Music Tour With Davido

Nigerian singer, Ayo Balogun, better known as Wizkid, has revealed plans to go on a tour with his colleague, David Adeleke, popularly called Davido.

Naija News reports that Wizkid made this known in a post shared on his Instagram story on Wednesday, January 18, 2022.

According to the singer, the music tour with Davido will commence immediately after his ‘More Love, Less Ego’ Tour.

He urged his fans to prepare and save their money to avoid being taken unaware.

He wrote: “After my MLLE tour!! Davido and I going on tour!! Save your coins! I no one hear pim!!”

Meanwhile, the mother of Grammy-winner Burna Boy, Bose Ogulu, has revealed that she insisted on adding her father’s first name to her surname because she didn’t want to be mistaken for another Idonije.

The talent manager made the revelation on Monday, January 16 at a dinner held at Freedom Park on Lagos Island to celebrate the 60th birthday of media, art and culture executive Jahman Anikulapo.

While introducing Mama Burna, the host craved the indulgence of the former’s husband to refer to her as Bose Benson-Idonije, adding that Bose didn’t like to be addressed as Bose Idonije but has insisted on adding her father’s first name to her surname.

Speaking later, Bose said she insisted people called her Bose Benson-Idonije before she got married because she didn’t want to be mistaken for another Idonije.
