2023: Atiku Reacts To How He Was Received In Ogun State (Photos)

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar has described Wednesday’s campaign rally in Ogun State as huge.

Hours after the campaign rally was concluded, Atiku took to his Twitter account to appreciate the people of the state for their massive turnout.

He stated that despite the hot weather, the crowd was energetic and the people trooped out en masse to show their love.

The former Vice President wrote: “Our rally in Abeokuta today was huge. The crowd was full of energy, even despite the hot weather. Thank you, Abeokuta, for your massive show of love.”

The PDP candidate also appreciated the Alake of Egba land, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo III for the warm reception.

He wrote: “I must also specially thank the Alake of Egba land, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo III, for hosting my team and I during a courtesy visit to the palace. I am most sincerely grateful, Kabiesi. -AA”

As earlier reported by Naija News, Atiku, and his running mate, Ifeanyi Okowa, stormed Ogun State for the party’s campaign rally on Wednesday.

The PDP supporters and members stormed the palace of Alake of Egbaland in Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital, to welcome Atiku and the PDP Presidential Campaign Council to the state.

The former Vice President paid a courtesy visit to the monarch before joining Ogun PDP governorship candidate, Ladi Adebutu and his running mate, Adekunle Akinlade, for their party’s campaign for the 2023 elections.

Atiku and Okowa also met with the PDP State Executive at the Party Secretariat at NNPC/Oke-Mosan in Abeokuta metropolis before heading for the campaign ground.
