The wife of the Presidential candidate of the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Titi Atiku Abubakar, has told Nigerians not to doubt the capacity of her husband, the PDP flag bearer, Atiku Abubakar.

According to her, the former Vice President has the capacity to reposition the country when he voted as president, therefore electorates should not doubt what he has to offer.

Mrs Atiku said Nigerians can entrust the country into the hands of her husband because considering he has served as a two-term vice president under the then President, Olusegun Obasanjo administration.

Naija News reports that Atiku’s wife made the call on Saturday when she addressed women in Bauchi at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium.

She asserted that there is more to benefit women and generally if her husband is given the mandate to run the affairs of the country as Nigeria’s next President.

She appealed to the people of Bauchi state to vote for her husband as president and also return their state governor, Bala Mohammed to office for a second term.

Mrs Atiku also warned women against being deceived by selfish politicians who do not mean well for the country.

She recalled that when her husband served as vice president for 8 years, women were not left behind in her programmes as the wife of vice President, adding that women should expect more if her husband becomes the President in 2023.

Mrs Atiku noted that “I urge you to tighten up your belts, tighten up your belts women of Bauchi, I beg you not to doubt my husband, he will do so many things for you, including your children.

“There is hunger, no job for the youth, our youth are roaming the streets, some are involved in yahoo yahoo, we pray that God will intervene.

“Go and collect your PVCs in order to be able to vote for the PDP, Atiku Abubakar and Bala Mohammed. Your votes will make a positive impact in the election. Ensure that you protected your votes very well to ensure that it counted.”
