Another Victim Of Asake’s Concert Stampede Dies

A female security guard identified as Gabriella Hutchinson, who sustained injuries during the music concert hosted by Nigerian singer, Asake, has died.

The 23-year-old had sustained injuries from the stampede at the concert which was held in Brixton Academy, United Kingdom.

According to Daily Mail, Hutchinson who was working as a contracted security provider at the concert lost live on Monday.

Her death is coming four days after the incident happened and she was rushed to a hospital.

The death of the female security guard makes her the second victim who has lost their life to the saddening incident.

Recall that 33-year-old Rebecca Ikumelo died on Saturday. She was a single mum-of-two

 

The Metropolitan Police speaking on the incident disclosed that the third victim who is 21 years old is still receiving treatment and in critical condition.

Chief Superintendent Colin Wingrove, policing commander for Lambeth and Southwark said, “It is devastating news that a second person has lost their life following the events on Thursday.

“I wish to express my heartfelt condolences to Gabrielle’s family at this unimaginably difficult time.”

Naija News had earlier reported that eight people were injured in the incident after a stampede at the 02 Brixton Academy on Thursday.
