Atiku Visits Plateau, Donates N40m To Injured PDP Supporters

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has arrived in Kaduna State to meet with some Christian leaders.

Naija News reports that the Wazirin Adama arrived in the Southern Kaduna community on Monday, December 19, 2022, in the company of his running mate, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa (Delta State).

Also with them are PDP stakeholders and party supporters.

Though the presidential hopeful did not disclose the reason for meeting with the religious leaders, the meeting may not be unconnected with Atiku’s continued electioneering campaign ahead of the 2023 general elections.

“We just arrived in Kafanchan for a stakeholder meeting with Christian leaders from Southern Kaduna,” Atiku noted on his Twitter page with a video clip of their arrival.

2023: Peter Obi, LP Will Lose Steam Like Morocco At World Cup – Bwala

A chieftain of the PDP, Daniel Bwala, said on Monday morning that Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, will suffer the same fate as Morocco at the just concluded 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

According to Bwala, Morocco went into the world cup running helter-skelter, eventually losing steam, and was kicked out of the competition.

Naija News reports that the spokesperson for Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Organisation noted this in a post via his verified Twitter handle.

Recall that Morocco became the first African team to reach the semi-final stage in a football World Cup tournament.

Despite its outstanding performance, Morocco ended up contending for a third-place which it eventually lost to Croatia.

Reacting to the African country’s loss, Bwala said Obi would be sent home come February 2023. He also compared his principal (Atiku) to the Argentine team, saying he would emerge a winner.

Bwala wrote: “Peter Obi and Labour are just like Morocco. They went to the World Cup as a new phenomenon running kiti kiti kata kata. When the game settled, they lost steam and were sent home. That’s how Peter Obi would be sent home in February Presidential elections. A-Atiku = A-Argentina.”
