Controversial media personality, Daddy Freeze has tackled Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie for declaring himself a proud polygamist.

Recall that Yul via his Instagram page on Sunday declared himself a proud polygamist, adding that being married to two women cannot deter him from being a man of God.

Speaking about his decision, Yul noted that he wanted to give his son a proper identity, adding that it was his destiny.

He said: “I’m a very proud Polygamist. With my full chest. Read Exodus 21 vs 10. The Bible acknowledges Polygamy. It is my destiny. God directed me to do it. So I can give my son a proper identity. Therefore it came with many blessings, Blessings for me, blessings for my wife Queen May to calm her down cos as a human being she’ll definitely not be happy about it, and blessings for my wife Judy as well.

“I’m a very solid man of God. With so much grace. You may not understand my life and say negative things about me, but I won’t blame you. It’s my life, not yours. So you’re not supposed to understand it. Dear Lord, I acknowledge your abundant blessings in my life, and in my family and I just want to say THANK YOU, LORD. My mouth will forever testify to your goodness. May your Mighty Name be praised forever and ever, Amen.”

Replying to the actor, Daddy Freeze told the actor that he must seek his first wife, May’s consent and she must be happy with his decision before he can become a man of God.

Daddy Freeze said: “My brother there is nothing wrong with polygamy. It is scriptural like you noted. Abraham, David and Solomon were all polygamists. Polygamy can’t stop you from being a man of God. However, the only issue is that May @mayyuledochie is NOT happy. Traditionally (with regards to Nigerian culture) and scripturally, the first wife must consent. May made it clear that she didn’t consent. This is my issue. Do have yourself a happy holiday”.
