2023 Presidential Loss Has Sent Atiku Spinning Like A Drunkard, He Should Retire Peacefully - Keyamo

The Chief Spokesperson for the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), Festus Keymao, has reacted to the gaffe suffered by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, in Jos, Plateau State.

Naija News had earlier reported that the former Vice President suffered the gaffe at the PDP presidential rally held at the Rwang Pam township stadium in Jos on Tuesday.

The former vice president while concluding his speech in Hausa said, “For God’s sake and for the value of this place, ensure that you vote for A… I mean PDP this time around.”

Meanwhile, the PDP presidential candidate’s gaffe comes weeks after a similar incident involving the APC flagbearer, Bola Tinubu, which also occurred at the same stadium.

While addressing supporters at the Plateau rally, Tinubu said, “God bless PD… APC”.

Reacting to the development in a tweet via his verified Twitter handle, Keyamo admitted that his principal made a mistake while addressing supporters in Jos weeks ago.

The Minister of State for Labour and Employment also called out ThisDay newspaper for making Tinubu’s gaffe its lead story, asking the media outfit to also do the same for Atiku.

He wrote: “The day@officialABAT said PD-APC in an apparent slip of tongue, @THISDAYLIVE (its newspaper) made it their lead story the next day.

“Now, Atiku has said AP-PDP in a slip of tongue on the same ground in JOS today. In a test of non-partisanship, we await their headline tomorrow.”
