‘Wizkid Is Not A Fantastic Singer’ – Samklef Blows Hot Over ‘Rap Is Dead’ Statement (Video)

Music producer cum artiste, Samuel Oguachuba popularly known as Samklef has weighed in on ‘the rap is dead’ statement made by his colleague, Wizkid.

Naija News reports Wizkid’s controversial statement has sparked various reactions and debates with some, especially his fans accepting and supporting his stance, while others disagreed with the singer.

Addressing the issue on Saturday, media personality and pioneer of ‘free the sheeple’ movement launched a joint IG live session where he invited some music veterans such as Kas, Soso Soberekon, and Samklef to chip in their thoughts.

Soso while speaking argued that Wizkid, at the beginning of his career in Surulere, Lagos was a rapper, while Samklef who took it from there insisted that Wizkid is not a fantastic singer.

He went on to draw a controversial comparison between Iyanya and Wizkid, saying that he doesn’t know who will win if both artistes perform at an audition.

Veteran Nollywood, Pete Edochie has broken silence following his son’s decision,Yul Edochie to settle for another wife, after his first wife, May Edochie.

It would be recalled that Yul broke the internet earlier this year, after the actor via his social media handle announced that he had welcomed a baby with his colleague turned baby mama, Judy Austin.

His first wife, May, expressed her displeasure at his decision, stating that she will not be cajoled to accept what does not align with her faith.

Speaking in a fresh interview with Vanguard, Pete Edochie noted that he did not feel good about his son’s decision but that was his choice to make.

“I didn’t feel good, but like I said, I’m a Christian and I read the Bible. Solomon, with 700 wives and 300 concubines, was branded a man of wisdom.

It’s his choice and for whatever reason he decided to take a second wife, that’s what I can say.” he was quoted as saying.
