Three Arsenal Players That May Leave Club This Summer Transfer Window

Swiss midfielder, Granit Xhaka, scored the game-winning goal for Arsenal as they secured the Europa League’s round of 16.

Naija News recalls that the match against PSV Eindhoven was originally scheduled to take place on September 15 but was postponed due to “severe limitations on police resources” as a result of the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.

Arsenal’s best chances came from Gabriel Jesus and Bukayo Saka, but the performance of PSV’s Argentine goalkeeper Walter Benitez and some sloppy finishing made for a tense evening.

The PSV’s resilience was finally broken when Swiss international Xhaka guided the ball into the net in the 70th minute from Takehiro Tomiyasu low cross into the bottom left corner.

As a result of maintaining their perfect record, the Gunners now lead Group A by a margin of five points.

If Arsenal win or draw the reverse fixture against the Dutch club at Philips Stadium next week, they will automatically secure to spot in the group.
