2023 Election: APC Speaks On Issue Of Campaign Financing

The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has said the issue of campaign financing was still being discussed.

The National Publicity Secretary of the party, Felix Morka, stated this during a chat with reporters at the end of a tripartite meeting in Abuja on Wednesday.

Morka stated that the issue of campaign funding is a subject that will be discuss by the party in due course.

He said: ”Well, that’s a matter that is still in progress. Our campaign financing is really important, because without it, you can’t do a whole lot. But that is a subject that we will discuss in due course.”

APC Sets Up Campaign Council Harmonisation Committee

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has set up a campaign council harmonisation committee to harmonise its controversial Presidential Campaign Council.

The controversy around the list presidential campaign council led to the setting up of the harmonisation committee after failing to reach common ground on several issues.

The spokesperson of the Tinubu/Shettima presidential campaign council (PCC), Festus Keyamo disclosed that the committee had been saddled with the responsibility of reducing the manifesto documents to major highlights.

On the commencement of PDP’s presidential campaign, Keyamo said APC would allow the “little boys to continue, the big boys are coming behind.”
