APC Rally: Reno Reacts As Portable Strips On Awolowo’s Statue In Osun

Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has condemned fast-rising street sensation, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable for striping while standing on the statue of Chief Obafemi Awolowo.

Naija News had earlier reported that the singer during the mega rally of the All Progressives Congress in Osun State stripped while standing on the statue.

Portable in pictures spotted online stripped off his shorts and clothes while holding the symbol of APC, ‘the broom’.

Omokri while reacting to the singer’s action, wonder how it would help the APC win the July 16th governorship election in Osun State.

He further stated that the vulgar display by Portable on the status of Awolowo will even turn the people of Osun against APC.

The presidential aide noted that no Northerner will do what Portable did on the statue of Awolowo to a statue of Ahmadu Bello.

Omokri wrote, “But how does this even help APC? This vulgar display on someone of such historical significance as Chief Obafemi Awolowo will even turn people against the party. What is this? No Northerner will do this to a statue of Ahmadu Bello! Why are we like this?”

This is coming a few hours after Portable admitted to having been paid to campaign for Osun Governor Gboyega Oyetola and APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.
