Nigeria v Burundi: “I Will Play Anywhere For The Team” – Toni Payne

Super Falcons winger, Toni Payne has stated that she can play any role for the team ahead of the Burundi game.

Speaking at the press conference ahead of the Burundi game, Payne said she has played multiple positions for her team as a wing-back and a left-back.

She said: “I have played as a wing-back for my club and it was an easy transition to play there for the team.”

The winger further confirmed that she is ready to help the team and can play any other position if the coach asks her to play, “I will play anywhere for the team.”

Nigeria play Burundi on Sunday in their final game in Group C.
