The coach of the Super Falcons, Randy Waldrum has once again attacked the Nigeria media, tagging them as negative.

Despite the victory over Botswana, the coach didn’t spare journalists in the press conference as he claimed that Nigeria media breeds negativity.

He said, “Honestly, media in Nigeria is very negative. We don’t want a distraction in our team.”

Waldrum noted that the team is kept away from the media because they are trying to concentrate.

“We are trying to qualify for the World Cup & the teams must be isolated,” he said.

This comes after he refused allowing journalists to cover the team’s walk ahead of Botswana.

Super Falcons need at least a draw against Burundi to qualify for the quarter-final.
