Super Falcons coach, Randy Waldrum remains optimistic ahead of the other games in the group despite losing to Bayana Bayana of South Africa again.

He said in the press conference after the game that the game against South Africa is just one game and the team will learn from it.

He said, “We respect South Africa but fought hard till the end of the game.”

In terms of analyzing the game, he said he was surprised that the team didn’t start well.

“We were afraid and I was surprised we didn’t start on a front foot.”

He assured Nigerians that the team can win the 10th title despite the loss.

“We know what’s at stake. We won’t panic”.

The Falcons lost their opening game of the WAFCON tournament 2-1 on Monday evening.
