WAFCON: Desiree Ellis: “Our Goal Is To Win AFCON”

After another impressive win over the Super Falcons of Nigeria, South Africa coach, Desiree Ellis said the goal of the team is to qualify for the World Cup and win AFCON.

Speaking at the post-press conference, she said they have set out the goals and objectives of the team before the game against Nigeria.

She said, “Our target is to secure qualification for World Cup and  win AFCON.”

She continued that they’ve studied the Super Falcons well to record a win over them.

“We analyze Nigeria well at Aisha Buhari & their trip to Canada,” she said.

She noted that her team will not underrate their next opponent, Burundi, after the victory over Nigeria.
