The Speaker Kano state house of assembly, Hon. Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari has charged Nigerians not to ignore praying to God because prayer is the key to solve myriad of problems bedevilling the country.
He said that as the nation is celebrating the democracy day which is a day set aside to reflect and plan for the future political development of the nation, as such there was need for citizens to maintain the tempo for a peaceful Nigeria.
This is contained in a statement by the Director press Kano state house of assembly, Mallam Uba Abdullahi and made available to the pressmen on Monday in Kano .
He tasked Nigerians saying, “let us resort to prayer, shun away from any act capable of causing disunity and unnecessary tension saying that with the collective efforts of the teeming masses the country will be great.”
When commenting on the series of developmental structures put in place by the incumbent administration, under the leadership of Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the Speaker disclosed that the name of the Governor would be written in gold based on his contributions to the development of the State in all spheres of lives.
He said that as a law making body in the State, the house had achieved lot in terms of laws aimed at moving the state forward. He commended the legislators for their tolerance, understanding and maturity during Legislative proceedings at all the times.
Speaking on the just concluded APC national convention, Hon Hamisu said no doubt President Muhammadu Buhari had displayed high sense of maturity during the conventiona, by allowing the delegates to determine who will be the flag bearer of All Progressive Congress and the emergence of Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a signal of development in all facets of human endeavors in all States of the federation.
He then expressed gratitude to the people of Dambatta/Makoda for their support, saying that he would redouble efforts and focus on promoting his Constituency on all matters related to human development at all the times to make it one of the best Constituency in the nation.
