APC Presidential Primary Kicks Off As Buhari Arrives At Eagles Square

President Muhammadu Buhari who also poses as the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress has arrived the Eagle Square, signalling the kick-off of the presidential primary of the ruling party in Abuja.

President Buhari arrived at the venue moments after his Vice, Yemi Osinbajo who is also in the presidency race and other presidential aspirants arrived at the venue of the primary.

The President was ushered into the special convention of the ruling party with a resounding ensemble by the Guards Brigade, after which the presidential primary commenced.

The APC National Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, members of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC), as well as other leaders of the party also welcomed the president to the primary.

The presidential aspirants contesting to clinch the ticket of the ruling party include Abubakar Badaru (who has withdrawn from the race): Godswill Akpabio: Rotimi Amaechi: Ibikunle Amosun: Yahaya Bello: Kayode Fayemi: Tein Jack -Rich: Ahmed Lawan: Chukwuemeka Uwaezuoke Uwajuiba: Ogbonnaya Onu: Yemi Osinbajo: Bola Tinubu: David Umahi.

Others are, Rochas Okorocha, former Imo State governor; Ben Ayade, Governor of Cross River state; Tunde Bakare, General Overseer of Latter Rain Assembly and Sani Yerima, former Zamfara State Governor.
