Former lawmaker, Shehu Sani, has reacted to controversies surrounding former President Goodluck Jonathan’s alleged purchase of All Progressive Congress, APC 2023 Presidential forms.

The internet went agog on Monday night after reports emerged that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP chieftain and celebrated politician had joined the 2023 presidential race under the platform of the ruling party.

The claims imply that Jonathan had defected to APC unannounced and is hoping to return to power.

Interestingly, Jonathan’s Media Adviser, Ikechukwu Eze has in a statement debunked his principal’s alleged defection and purchase of APC presidential form by a group of herders in the north.

Eze stated categorically that Jonathan will make public his decision if at all he will be contesting the seat of power again.

His former aide, Reno Omokri has also in a Twitter post, faulted the viral reports stating that Nigerians are been played by some political big wigs.

Reacting to the political development, Shehu Sani took to his verified Twitter page on Tuesday to note that it is impossible to submit the forms without the aspirant’s signature.

The Kaduna State 2023 governorship aspirant wondered how the said Fulani group would purchase presidential forms for Jonathan and not former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, who is their tribesman.

In his submission, Sani said Nigeria’s politics is magical or Jujucal.

His tweet reads: “The Form can only be submitted when it’s SIGNED by the aspirant and with the party membership card number. Signature is approval or consent; So, wait and see.

“The Miyetti that didn’t buy N40m form for a Fulani Atiku couldn’t have bought N100m Form for GEJ. They are simply used in a political chess game.”
