Reno Omokri Reacts To Pastor Adeboye’s ‘Goat Statement’ Apology
Controversial author, Reno Omokri has reacted to the apology by Leke Adeboye, the son of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, after calling pastors of the denomination ‘goats’.
Naija News recalls that Pastor Leke Adeboye via his Instagram page had referred to all RCCG pastors who nonetheless preach their very own messages after the G.O. had preached his sermon as “goats”.
However, the cleric’s son, apologized on his Instagram page over the statement, admitting that he went too far with his statement, even though he never meant to insult or malign clerics in the church.
Reacting to the development, Reno Omokri via his Instagram expressed disappointment over the silence of other pastors over the statement made by Leke Adeboye.
He added that when Daddy Freeze criticized a particular pastor, other pastors retaliated, calling the media personality all sort of names.
He said, he was expecting the pastors to do same with Leke but nothing like that was done.
He further questioned if Nigerian Pentecostal pastors are respecters of persons, adding that in terms of discipline, structure, no institution on Earth, whether church or government, compares to the Holy Roman Catholic Church.
