Premier League Highest Goal Scorers - Top 15 After 26 Games Of 2021/22 Season

Liverpool forward, Mohamed Salah has refused to slow down in his goal-scoring streak as he currently leads the 2021/2022 English Premier League campaign with goals.

The Egyptian national football team captain has so far scored 17 goals for the Reds this season, Naija News reports.

Salah’s Liverpool teammate, Diogo Jota, who was snapped from Wolves in 2020 in a £41m deal has also been incredible this summer, giving the Egyptian a close mark with 12 goals.

The ongoing season is already in its week 26 after Sunday matches and club players are immensely contending to claim the top goalscorer award at the end of the Premier League campaign.

Meanwhile, Italian professional footballer, Jorginho has confessed his love for English Premier League top club, Manchester City.

The 30-year-old player while entertaining questions from journalists during an interview over the weekend, admitted he could have joined another Premier League club different from Chelsea.

Naija News reports that Jorginho joined the Blues from Napoli in 2018 when Maurizio Sarri was the head coach of the Premier League challengers.

Having spent four years of his football career with Chelsea, Jorginho who spoke ahead of Chelsea’s Champions League round of 16 tie with Lille on Tuesday, said he would have been under Pep Guardiola.

He revealed how he had loved to watch Guardiola play alongside Ronaldinho, Xavi, Iniesta, and others at Barcelona many years ago when he was still a kid.

Jorginho who plays from the midfield said he would love to play for Pep Guardiola one day.
