Transfer: Vincent Aboubakar In Possible Shock Move To English Premier League

The captain of the Cameroon national team, Vincent Aboubakar, has been linked to some clubs like West Ham United and Leicester City after emerging as the top scorer in the just concluded 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

According to Fichajes, the English Premier League clubs are monitoring Aboubakar after his performance at AFCON.

Aboubakar currently plays for Saudi Arabian side, club Al-Nassr FC but might seal a move to the premier league soon.

The Premier League clubs are hopeful of signing the Cameroon captain during the summer transfer window.

Aboubakar who scored eight goals at the just concluded tournament had the best years of his career in FC Porto.

The striker while in FC Porto scored 58 goals in 125 competitive appearances and 16 assists.

Aboubakar dumped Porto in 2020 for Besiktas, before signing a deal with Al-Nassr last summer.

Aboubakar scored five goals in 15 league games for Al-Nassr in his maiden season at the club.
