Nollywood actor, Zubby Micheal has gotten more than what he bargained for after being lashed at, for showing off over eight million naira spent at a Lagos restaurant on his birthday dinner.

Naija News reports that Zubby Michael, celebrated his birthday on Tuesday and received good wishes from his colleagues in the entertainment industry.

In celebration of his birthday, the actor hosted and partied with a couple of friends in Lagos after which he uploaded a photo of the receipt which ran into millions of naira.

The film star wrote on his Instagram account. “#doings #nawedeyhere #blessup.”

Reacting to the development, some fans of the actor expressed disappointment, thus reprimanding the actor of being wasteful.

They stressed that with numerous cases of Nigerian celebrities seeking financial aid when battling medical conditions, it was unwise for the actor to spend such an amount of money when he could invest it.

Some, however, urged the actor to be wise and invest his money.

And it is still the same poor folks he is putting under unnecessary pressure with his fake life that will contribute money for his medical treatment then.”
