Popular Nigerian activist, Deji Adeyanju has advised President Muhammadu Buhari to support the former Lagos governor, Akinwunmi Ambode to emerge as the flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2023.

In a tweet via his Twitter page on Thursday, the former member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) said the decision to support Ambode would liberate South West from the hold of the APC National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Adeyanju disclosed that Buhari backing Ambode to come back as governor will be one of the greatest political moves in the South West.

He wrote: “One of the greatest political moves Buhari can make to liberate South West from Bullion Vanism & slavery is to support Ambode to get APC guber ticket. Buhari will write his name in gold by doing so especially in the SW. The looting & slavery in Lagos must stop. #OtogeLagos

Meanwhile, former Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha has alleged why members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, became a terrorist sect.

According to the presidential hopeful, the Biafra agitators turned out to be a terrorist group because it was not properly handled by the government.

Okorocha had said that IPOB disrespected him while he was a sitting governor, however, he didn’t see them as terrorists even then.

Okorocha who spoke while addressing State House Correspondents after his meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday said he only sees IPOB members as poorly educated children and not terrorists as portrayed by some persons.
