Prosecute Boko Haram Sponsors – Nigerians Charge FG

Nigerians on Thursday took to micro-blogging platform, Twitter to express their thoughts as the Federal Government revealed that the Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit (NFIU) has uncovered 96 financiers of terrorism in the country.

President Muhammadu Buhari-led government on Thursday disclosed that it has discovered some of the people responsible for supporting Boko Haram terrorists and the Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP).

The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed disclosed this on Thursday.

Nigerians in their reaction condemned the Federal Government for not releasing the identity of the people sponsoring Boko Haram and ISWAP.

Some further stated that since the Federal Government identified the sponsors, none of them have been prosecuted for sponsoring terrorism in the country.

Others added that the Buhari government would not take action against the alleged sponsors as it did with the previous people.
