Rapper Olamide Dragged For Insulting Fan Who Asked For A Car To Start Business

Nigerian rapper, Olamide Adedeji has got more than he bargained for after he insulted a fan on social media who asked for his support to start a business.

Naija News reports that a fan identified as Odunuga Oluwaseun took to his Twitter handle to plead with the rapper to support him with a car to start a business of his own.

He wrote; ‘Baddo, I need car for my bolt business oo.. even na HP i go pay back. Make we run biz..Thanks.’

Relying the fan, the singer insulted the fan in Yoruba. He wrote; ‘Money way you keep for my hand..Ori iya e gbaa iie.’

Olamide’s post generated an outburst online as many netizens dragged him, stating that he could have keep quiet or ignore the fan rather than insult his mother.

Daniel Regha wrote; ”Olamide, ur fan Oluwaseun only requested u assist him in purchasing a car so he can become a taxi driver & hustle for his daily bread; He didn’t impose. U are arguably rich, if u can help him kindly oblige but don’t make a mockery of him cos it takes guts for one to ask for help.”

Wale Adebayo wrote; ‘I kn you love Olamide. Trust me, I love him too wholeheartedly. But on this one, he’s wrong. I get it, he might not be in the mood, he’s human, but Olamide gat apologize to the young man. A spade is a spade. The dude did nothing wrong asking for help. Badoo, calm down apologize.’
