Couple Apprehended For Beating Up Their Child’s Teacher

Security operatives attached to the Ogun State Police Command have arrested a couple for unlawfully invading their son’s school and assaulting a teacher.

The arrest was made after a distress call was received by policemen at Ado Odo divisional headquarters that a teacher in Toyon High school Ere village in Ado Odo area of Ado Odo ota local government had been beaten up and injured by the parents of one of the students.

The DPO of Ado Odo division, SP Arowojeun Michael, stated that upon receiving the call, he mobilized his men and went to the school where the couple and some of the thugs that accompanied them were arrested.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the couple was infuriated after the teacher, Abel Thomas beat their child and consequently visited the school to retaliate.

DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, spokesperson of the state police command, said the victim was currently undergoing treatment.

He also revealed that the state commissioner of police, CP Lanre Bankole had ordered for the couple to be charged to court without delay.
