‘Looks Like A Meltdown’: Fani-Kayode Reacts As Court Suspends Secondus As PDP Chairman

'Delusional Government' - Fani-Kayode Reacts To Twitter Ban In Nigeria

Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has declared that the court order which restrained Uche Secondus from parading himself as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) national chairman can’t end the leadership crisis in the party.

Speaking on the development, Fani-Kayode observed that the development looks like a meltdown to him.

He further questioned how long the party can continue to hold without getting pulled apart by the leadership crisis currently rocking it.

Taking to his social media page on Tuesday, he wrote: “Secondus restrained from being National Chairman of
@OfficialPDPNig by court order?”

“Even if the order is lifted in a few days the leadership crisis in the party just does not seem to want to go away.”

“For how much longer can the centre hold?”

“Looks like a meltdown to me!”

Naija News recalls the High Court of Rivers State on Monday stopped the embattled Prince Uche Secondus from parading himself as National Chairman or member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Hon. Justice O. Gbasam of the Degema Judicial Division Vacation Court sitting in Port Harcourt granted the injunction following a suit No: PHC/2183/CS/2021 filed by Ibeawuchi Ernest Alex, Dennis Nna Amadi, Emmanuel Stephen and Umezirike Onucha against Uche Secondus (1st defendant) and the PDP (2nd defendant).

After listening to the submission of the applicants, the judge granted the interim injunction restraining Secondus from parading himself as the National Chairman of the PDP.

However, Secondus in his reaction on Monday through his media aide, Ike Abonyi, stated that he is ready to defend himself in court if summoned.
