Unidentified Motorcyclist Crushed To Death In Anambra

A ghastly road crash in Anambra State has claimed the life of a yet to be identified motorcyclist, Naija News learnt.

Confirming the incident in a statement made available to newsmen on Saturday, the Public Education Officer for the state Federal Road Safety Corps, Edor Florence N.(SRC), said the horrible accident happened in Umuazu Nteje on Friday, January 22.

The FRSC official revealed that the accident happened between one Udoka Nwoya, the driver of Mercedes Benz Tipper with registration number XA 156 EFR, and the unidentified deceased with an unregistered motorcycle.

Naija News understands that the accident was caused by reckless driving from the two male drivers.

Florence disclosed further that the motorcyclist was rushed to Chira hospital Awkuzu but was confirmed dead by the resident doctor upon arrival. His remain was said to have been deposited at Wisdom Mortuary Nteje.

In another news, Naija News reported that one person has been beheaded, while two other were killed in a crisis between residents of Uko-nteghe Uda and Uko Akpan Enwang communities of Mbo Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.
It was reported that the disturbing situation on Thursday morning, January 21, sent some residents away from their homes to seek protective cover elsewhere.
