Nigeria Police Raise Alarm Over Fake Recruitment Site, Warns Members Of The Public

Two suspected ritualists have been arrested and cooling off in police custody for the alleged criminal act of killing a girl and removing her private part for ritual purposes.

The incident which happened in a Kwata, a village in Bauchi State, has been confirmed by the state’s Police Spokesperson, DSP Ahmed Mohammed Wakil.

The suspects have also been identified as Abdulkadir Wada and Adamu Abdulrauf from Jama’are Local Government Area of Bauchi.

Naija News understands the suspected criminals who have confessed to the crime, told the Police that they carried out the act for a herbalist who promised to give them N500,000 as a reward.

The major suspect, Wada while confessing to the crime, narrated that they had gone Kwata where they ambushed a young girl, dragged her into an uncompleted building, and killed her before removing her sexual organ with a knife.

“Abdulrauf then removed a knife from his pocket and cut off the girl’s private part. It was a marabout, who is now at large, that asked us to get him a female sexual part in return for N500,000,” he said in Hausa language according to an audio clip obtained by PR Nigeria.

However, the other suspect, Abdulrauf denied killing their victim, narrating that: “It was Wada who came and met me in our house. He told me that he and one of his friends went to a spiritualist who promised them N500,000 if they bring a female vagina. But I told him I am not interested.

“So, I discussed with one of my friends called Musa who advised me to avoid Wada. The next day, while I was in my shop doing my mechanic work, I met Wada at the garage. He then gave me an amulet (charm), which I threw inside my pocket. Later on, we met and he asked me to accompany him to a place called Kwata.

“When we got to the area, we saw two young girls at a location. We stopped and called them. Wada now removed a handkerchief from his pocket and flashed it on the face of one of the girls. After the girl had slumped, he took her into an uncompleted structure, and removed her organs, as directed by the native doctor.”

The suspects who said they have since regretted their actions would be charged to court after investigation into the matter is complete, Police confirmed.
