Bullying: Police Dispatch Officers To Lead British School

The FCT Police Command has dispatched operatives to the Lead British School in Abuja over the recent bullying of one of the students of the school by her colleagues.

The Public Relations Officer of the FCT Command, SP Josephine Adeh, made this known in a statement on Tuesday.

According to her, the police operatives would conduct investigations into the incident and prevent a breakdown of law and order.

“In a proactive response to alarms raised by some members of the public regarding videos circulating on social media depicting the bullying of students at the above mentioned school, the FCT Police Command is on top of the situation and has deployed seasoned officers to the school premises for investigations and to forestall any possible breakdown of law and order,” she wrote.

Naija News recalls there was outrage on social media following the emergence of a video on the alleged bullying of a female student of Lead British International School, Abuja, by her classmates.

An X user, @mooyeeeeeee, in an SOS post accompanied by two videos on Monday night, said the female student was bullied and she is seeking justice for her.

The matter has gained national attention with stakeholders and members of the public expressing views on the incident.
