2023: TB Joshua Reveals His Stand On Orji Uzor Kalu As Next Nigerian President

The founder and leader of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Prophet TB Joshua has denied releasing a prophecy stating Senator Orji Uzor Kalu will become the next President of Nigeria in 2023.

The clergyman in a Twitter statement early on Monday morning, 28th December said the messages circulating on social media claiming he has endorsed Kalu as the next President of Nigeria through prophecy is false.

He wrote: “FAKE NEWS ALERT! Please be informed that the story circulating titled ‘Orji Kalu is Nigeria’s Next President, says TB Joshua’ is NOT from TB Joshua.”

The statement added that the Nigerian prophet is currently not around but is away in a prayer mountain.

“TB Joshua is not around; he is at the Prayer Mountain in a rural area for the past five days,” the tweet read.

Naija News recalls that in May 2020, the Supreme Court of Nigeria in a verdict by a seven-man panel of the Justices, nullified the judgment delivered by Justice Mohammed Idris of the Federal high court, Lagos which sentenced Ude Udeogu and Senator Oriji Uzor Kalu to 10 and 12 years imprisonment respectively.

Justice Ejembi Ekwo who read the lead judgment held that justice Mohammed Idris having been elevated to a Justice of the Court of Appeal lacked the jurisdiction to continue with the trial.

Justice Ekwo said the President of the Court of Appeal has no powers to issue a fait, asking Justice Idris to go back to the trial court to conclude the trial.

Senator Orji Uzor Kalu is the current lawmaker representing Abia North Senatorial District in the upper chamber of the National Assembly.
