Yobe State Government has fixed the resumption date for schools in the state for 12th October, 2020.

Commissioner of Basic and Secondary Education in the state, Dr. Muhammad Sani Idriss confirmed the development on Wednesday in Damaturu.

Idriss further stated that strict adherence to COVID-19 protocols will be observed by both public and private schools across the state.

The Commissioner said, “Gov. Mai Mala Buni has given directives to his Ministry to ensure reopening of basic and secondary schools in Yobe State with effect from 12th of October, 2020″.
