Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 136 New COVID-19 Cases In Nigeria

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on Monday evening, 28th September 2020, confirmed 136 new cases of coronavirus disease infection in Nigeria.

Naija News reports that the new cases of COVID-19 infection were confirmed via a statement on the official Twitter handle of the health agency.

The development brings the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria to 58,460 which includes 49,895 discharged cases and 1,111 deaths.

Below is the breakdown of the latest cases according to states with Lagos State recording the highest number of new confirmed cases, followed by Rivers State and Plateau, northern Nigeria.
