16-Year-Old Girl Attacked And Rape While Washing Clothes

One Akeem Adebayo has been arrested by the Osun state command of the Nigeria Police Force for allegedly raping a 16-year-old girl.

It was reported that the young girl had gone to wash her clothes at a stream in Ido Osun, Egbedore Local Government Area of the state on Saturday, August 29 before the suspect attacked her from behind and forcefully had sex with her.

Naija News learnt that the stream where the incident happened was not far from their house, which made her cry of help so loud that it drew the attention of passersby who rushed to the scene and apprehended the suspect.

Reports revealed that she was immediately rushed to the hospital for examination.

On his part, while confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the state police command, Yemisi Opalola, said the suspect is now in police custody and that investigation into the matter is ongoing.

Meanwhile, two security guards have been reportedly arrested by the Nigeria Police Force, Oyo State Command, for allegedly raping a travelling housewife and an 8-year-old girl in different locations and time, Naija News reports.
