Police in Kaduna have arrested a 33-year-old woman, simply identified as Hauwa, who connived with her elder sister, 35-year-old Zainab, for conniving to remove and bury her foetus alive.
Details of her the foetus was removed is not yet out.
However, it was learnt that the two sisters paid N2000 for a room in People’s Club Hotel in Tundun Wada, Kaduna State, just to execute their plan.
They were caught while digging a spot to bury the baby, by an eye witness who saw them and alerted the hotel management.
While digging, they saw blood and decided to invite the police who came and arrested the two sisters.
Meanwhile, In what was described as honour killing, a 24 -year old woman has allegedly been stoned to death by her husband and his brother in Pakistan.
Honour killing is described as the killing of a relative, especially a girl or a woman, who has allegedly brought dishonour to the family and it’s common in Pakistan.
Her mutilated body with a severe head injury was found by the National Highway and Motorway Police, close to the Indus Highway on June 27.
