NCDC Reports 649 Cases Of Coronavirus In Nigeria, 250 In Lagos

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported fresh 649 cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.

Naija News reports that the NCDC confirmed the new 649 cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria in a series of tweets on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Wednesday evening, June 24.

According to the NCDC, of the six hundred and forty-nine new coronavirus cases recorded on Wednesday evening, 250 were recorded in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, Oyo-100 Plateau-40 Delta-40 Abia-28 Kaduna-27 Ogun-22 Edo-20 Akwa Ibom-18 Kwara-17 FCT-17 Enugu-14 Niger-13 Adamawa-13 Bayelsa-7 Osun-6 Bauchi-6 Anambra-4 Gombe-3 Sokoto-2 Imo-1 Kano-1, northern Nigeria.

The NCDC tweeted: 649 new cases of #COVID19; Lagos-250 Oyo-100 Plateau-40 Delta-40 Abia-28 Kaduna-27 Ogun-22 Edo-20 Akwa Ibom-18 Kwara-17 FCT-17 Enugu-14 Niger-13 Adamawa-13 Bayelsa-7 Osun-6 Bauchi-6 Anambra-4 Gombe-3 Sokoto-2 Imo-1 Kano-1 22,020 cases 7,613 discharged 542 deaths,” the tweet added.

The development means the number of cases of coronavirus in Nigeria has risen to twenty-two thousand and twenty (22,020) with seven thousand, six hundred and thirteen (7,613) people discharged and five hundred and forty-two (542) deaths recorded.
