Nigerians React As Atiku’s Son Reveals His Father Will Contest 2023 Presidency
The news that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar plans to contest the 2023 presidency in Nigeria has attracted mixed reactions on social media.
As previously reported by Naija News, Adamu Abubakar, one of the sons of the former vice-president, disclosed that his father will run for the 2023 presidency.
He made this known while presenting the one-year score card of his ministry as the Commissioner for Works and Energy in Adamawa State.
He said: “Personally, I don’t see anything wrong with my father contesting for the presidency.
“In 2023, my father will be aspiring to the number one office in the land because he has been an astute, strategic, master politician for almost four decades.”
Following the declaration, some Nigerians have taken to Twitter to share their views. See some of their reactions below:
The son of Atiku has disclosed that his Dad will still contest for presidency come 2023, but Atiku replacing Buhari is like selling the dog to buy a monkey.

Why are we surprised. Just like president Buhari, Atiku would keep contesting until he either wins or dies. They have the money and nothing else to fight for except to become the President.

We’ve experimented with the younger generation and they continue to prove that the younger generation are not ready for leadership yet. Look at yahaya Bello & the sex toy senator for example
