COVID-19: Abdulrazaq Led Government Confirms 23 New Cases As Total Hits 111

Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq-led government has revealed that Kwara State has recorded six new cases of Coronavirus, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 85.

The increasing rate of coronavirus in Kwara state has made the Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq-led government urged residents to further adhere to recommendations by health experts.

The state government confirmed twenty-three new cases of Coronavirus, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 111.

Naija News understands that the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor and Spokesman for Technical Committee on COVID-19, Mr Rafiu Ajakaye, who made this known in a statement in Ilorin today advised citizens to stay safe and observer the necessary COVID-19 protective protocols.

Speaking on the new cases, Ajakaye stated that:

“The state now has a total of 111 confirmed cases, out of which 73 are active and 37 have recovered and discharged with one death. Regardless, the government warned people against letting down their guards as the level of threat of infection remains high across the country,” he said.
