Mourinho Reveals Why Tottenham Lost To United

Tottenham Hotspur manager, Jose Mourinho, has blamed his players after the team lost to Manchester United in their premier league clash on Wednesday.

Mourinho said he warned his players about the danger Marcus Rashford poses playing from the left for Manchester United.

It will be recalled Rashford scored twice, as United went on to defeat Spurs 2-1 in their Premier League clash on Wednesday night.

Dele Alli had equalized for Spurs before the half-time break, but Rashford grabbed a second-half winner for United from the penalty spot.

“When he plays from the left he is really dangerous and I knew that and gave the players the best information about it.

“His first goal is a typical Rashford goal coming on the inside. Our boys knew that clearly.

“It’s a step back against a team that is playing with same objective as us. Trying to get up the table and reach the top six.

“We need to keep going. We made mistakes but it’s not good to be crying about them now, we have a difficult match on Saturday [Burnley at home],” Mourinho told Sky Sports after the match.
